PATRICIA CHAPMAN (nee HAMILTON) On Friday, August 14, 2009, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Pat passed away at the age of 65 years. Remaining to forever cherish Pat's memory are her sons Timothy (Barb), Russell, and Clifford Chapman; brother Bill (Cathy) Hamilton; sisters Gaile Froese and Lynne Hamilton; partner William Bud Christie, along with numerous other relatives and friends. Pat was predeceased by her son Glen, father Robert, and mother Patricia. Pat lived her entire life in Winnipeg, and enjoyed many of the benefits that the city had to offer. She had a passion for golf, and spent many summers playing with the ladies at Charleswood Golf Club and other golf courses. Pat was also an active curler at the Charleswood Curling Club for a number of years. She loved arts and crafts, including a passion for watercolours. As a member of the Canadian Legion, Pat spent many evenings there in the company of friends, and fellow members. Family and guests will attend a private ceremony where Pat's remains will be put into her final resting place. No formal funeral service will be held. The immediate family will be arranging a life celebration at the Charleswood Legion No. 100 located on Roblin Boulevard. Date and time for this event will be announced at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences Centre ICU for their efforts. Flowers are gratefully declined.
